Group Lessons & Prices

Achieve neat handwriting – 30 simple steps

Group lessons take place around London and the UK. There are usually around 2 to 6 children in a group. These lessons are highly structured and pupils are taught how to form words, sentences, numbers and punctuation. As they progress through their workbooks, their handwriting becomes noticeably neater and tidier. Magic Link provides an essential skill which will prove beneficial and rewarding throughout life.

10-12 Lessons to complete

Sessions involve direct work and  demonstrations. Homework, 5-10 minutes per day, is set as regular practise is important in speeding and achieving goals. Pupils require around 10-12 single lessons (or 5-6 double lessons) to complete the wholeprogramme. There may be slight variations depending on the severity of the handwriting and the age of the child.

Story writing, speed & spelling reinforced

Parents must reinforce exercises at home to achieve maximum potential as quickly as possible.  The final step 30 includes story writing, consolidation and vocabulary exercises. This reinforces handwriting skills to allow focus on speed, spelling, presentation and transfer into school work.

45 Minute sessions

Children are taught in small groups. These highly intensive sessions last for 45 minutes (or 90 minutes for a double lesson.) Our group lessons are an excellent, tried and tested way of motivating children to work together to gain maximum confidence and speed in their handwriting and spelling skills.

Initial Consultation

£140 (Includes workbook pack)

The initial consultation lasts up to an hour and a handwriting sample is taken. The pupil is provided with the first workbook and the initial steps of the Magic Link Handwriting Programme are taught. The second and third books are provided as the student progresses through the course.

This session provides an opportunity for any questions to be asked and for homework requirements to be clarified. Homework consists of 5 -10 minutes per day and must be copied into the Magic Link homework book to encourage transfer and brought to every lesson.

All children must purchase their own selection of recommended pens and pencils on this website to bring to lessons and to use at their school.

The consultation fee also applies to pupils who have not attended Magic Link classes for 12 months or more.

Children on pupil premium will be sent an invoice directly to their school, subject to authorisation.

£40 Per session (per child)

Pupils of all ages are taught in small groups and these highly intensive sessions last for 45 minutes. We recommend older pupils, or younger children who have good concentration, receive double lessons so that they can complete the programme faster.

These groups lessons are an excellent, tried and tested way of motivating children to work together to gain maximum confidence in their handwriting and spelling skills. Parents or carers will be encouraged to reinforce homework exercises at home in order for the child to achieve maximum potential as quickly as possible.

At the end of the programme, step 30, pupils consolidate their new skill in free writing tasks. The final workbook contains exercises to reinforce neat, cursive handwriting and to improve speed, spelling, presentation and confidence.

The ‘before’ and ‘after’ sample is provided at the end, to highlight the fantastic difference the Magic Link Handwriting Programme has made!
