I have been a qualified English teacher for 17 years teaching students of all abilities and needs during that time. I also have experience as an Assistant Subject Leader with particular responsibility for teaching and learning at KS3, Year 6- 7 transition and improving students’ literacy skills.
I am passionate about transforming my tutees handwriting with the MagicLink method as I believe that good handwriting has life-long benefits and truly helps to unlock potential. Many struggling students I have helped within my career were inhibited by their handwriting style; they were reluctant to write because of it. There is little time devoted to teaching this skill within the curriculum yet, with good handwriting comes greater confidence, pride and enjoyment when writing in any situation as a student or adult which is why I am excited to be a certified Magic Link teacher.
