I’m Sarah, an occupational therapist who has been working with children and young people for 20 years. I have a passion for helping children improve their handwriting skills. My passion lies in handwriting and I teach small groups using the Magic Link method.

OT’s help children improve their participation in activities of daily living, also known as “occupations”.  One of the main occupations of childhood is handwriting and it’s a skill that most children I see struggle with.  Poor handwriting often leads to low self-esteem and avoidance behaviours, if not addressed, and so it’s a privilege to be able to help children build this skill!  I love seeing the smile break over a child’s face when this skill starts coming together for them.

My daughter attends a local grammar school and tells me that children do compare handwriting and it’s an area of great pride when handwriting is beautiful.  This is why I was attracted to the Magic Link programme as it delivers fast, proven results for children, providing them with a beautiful style that addresses speed and legibility.
